Flat Out Awesome Rock Performance Montage

by vidkkingg on Jan.16, 2010, under Q - Quality

If you like rock and roll performances and you love a great compilation or montange then you will probably enjoy this video that combines both of the above. we love music montages because they cause a rapid blast of feelings and mixed emotions as a barrage of memories surges forth and the memories and emotions cause a chain reaction of what can only be called “feeling memories”…well i guess they could also be called memory feelings or emotional flashbacks…oh hell, i guess they could be called all sorts of things but the point is that seeing short clips of many songs and groups seems to stir something up inside of you and since they are so short and come in such rapid succession it produces some sort of rapid barrage of feelings that you can only get from a good compilation or montage video of some great tunes. this one is pretty good and the songs and groups are shown in live performance situations which makes them have even greater impact then just flashing pictures behind the music. so if you can understan what we are saying here you can begin to experience “the montage high”

Here Is Every Beatles Song Ever

by vidkkingg on Dec.06, 2009, under Q - Quality

yes every beatles song in under ten minutes. every now and then we need to review all the songs that the beatles gave us just so we know how really great they were. but of course after the beatles came the solo careers of john, george, paul and ringo. there were a few good tunes after the beatles by individual beatles but the overall body of work by the original band still stands out as one of the great musical accomplishments of all time and their individual financial comeuppance (how many bucks they made) also stands out as one of the best paydays of all times…not to mention the groupies

Do You Still Miss Ol Blue Eyes

by vidkkingg on Aug.17, 2009, under Q - Quality

the world seems to be not quite as full as when frank sinatra was alive. we suddenly had an attack of missing him when we saw and heard this video. mr s made quite a splash in his life and adventures and without him around we can definately feel the loss. no one looked like sinatra, no one sang like sinatra and no lived liked sinatra. he developed an auro around himself that was recognized by all. they all paid their respects and rightly so. he was a mans man and the consummate performer. you knew you felt something special in his presence even if you didnt know why.

These Musicians Rocked The 80’s

by vidkkingg on Aug.04, 2009, under Q - Quality

It seems the 1980’s was one of the greatest most diversified decades of music and musical talent. Its fun to look at all these musicians and hear their uniique musical offerings once again. it is hard to say that one decade was better than another because each decade since the fifties has contained a motherload of great tunes and artists. we just feel that some decades had more diversity than others that seemed almost to stay in one certain groove or genre. the 80’s was definately all over the board and could not be pigeon holed into any one particular groove.

Donna Sings Hit Live

by vidkkingg on Jul.15, 2009, under Q - Quality

Donna Summer was the reigning disco queen for several years back in the disco era. at the retro discos of today her songs still get people out on the dance floor. we havent heard anything new from her in recent years though we know she can still belt out a tune. we guess she prefers to live off her past hits and not try to top them because they are pretty hard to top. Many artists like donna have their run in the music industry and then dont want to screw up their legacy by coming out with a flop record or song. donna we completely understand….if it aint broke dont try to fix it.

Who Writes Rock Music Like This

by vidkkingg on Jun.21, 2009, under Q - Quality

It is once again time for some great classic rock music. its funny the last time we said that we used another toto tune. we wonder who sits around and comes up with great riffs and lyrics like this. quite a talent for sure and it makes us think that todays rap music just doesnt seem to take this much effort. well thats ok because we dont really consider rap to be music. we dont like to use the words rap and music in the same sentence….rap is well….just rap. but when you hear rock music like this performed to perfection by toto, you have to say to yourself …now that is music. the song is called “hold the line”
