well we have put up several musical montages before, rock, soul, r & b, disco …but we have never done love songs. today we are putting up part one and part two and all these great songs are from the decade of the seventies. It is amazing how many great love songs that were created in that decade. each song in this collection is presented with a picture of the artist or artists who performed the song and some of the pictures are old and rare. this collection definately makes the memories rush in and flood your mind…that is provided that you were alive in the seventies and were of the proper age to appreciate all this great music

In 1983, Pat Benatar was known for singing about certain subject matter, with songs relating to battle. One of the her biggest hits was “Love Is a Battlefield” (written by Holly Knight and Mike Chapman). It came out in December 1983. By that time pats sound had changed from hard rock to pop and the video for “Love Is a Battlefield” was mostly for MTV, and featured Benatar in a Michael Jackson-type of dance number. the single peaked at #5 in the U.S, and topped the chart in Australia for seven weeks. . The song won Benatar her fourth Grammy for “Best Female Rock Vocal in 1983. A live album contained “Love Is a Battlefield” and “Lipstick Lies.” The album hit
#13 and became her fifth consecutive platinum winner.

Well that is what her new husband is saying and the rest of us are saying…why did she have to go and marry that horse faced loser and get pregnant on top of it. Well this may be the end of our beautiful adriana lima dream girl. It is very possible that she may never be the same or look the same ever again. So we thought we had better give thanks for her while we still have her….so to speak. we are actually thankful for all supermodels and were gonna put up a compilation of all supermodels but we will save that for when we lose adriana because she really epitomizes the living, breathing, walking. talking, smiling, laughing…super supermodel.

Bobby Caldwell was born on August 15, 1951 in New York City. He is a singer, songwriter and instrumentalist who is best known for his 1978 hit single “What You Won’t Do for Love.” he has maintained a devoted fan base in the United States, but he is more famous and worshiped in Japan. this song has been covered and remade by a few artists like boys ll men and caldwells version still receives a lot of airplay even today. we present bobby here in a live performance just so you can see a white man perform what sounds like a black mans tune

well we like this song, we love miley cyrus and all the drama in her life. It is beginning to become apparent through evidence collected on the internet that miley pines for nick jonas. to look at the two of them you get the impression that puppy love may have taken a more serious turn at some point in their “relationship”. this song seems so sad when backgrounded behind pictures of what just might be the young love affair of the decade. miley we wish you all the luck in the world in getting everything you want in life. obviously you are well on your way to achieving that. but we wish you everything you want in your love life…we just ask you to spill the beans, be honest and like the song says “tell me who do you love”
