Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (born March 28, 1986) is how wikipedia lists her. it is said that producer akon signed her to his label after he found out she could sing. lady Gaga released her first album in 2008. she said it was about how anybody can feel famous. gaga is from yonkers, NY., learned to play piano by age four and went to catholic school. her parents are italian americans. at 20 years old she worked at interscope records writing songs for groups like the pussy cat dolls. she started performing in clubs on the lower east side in nyc. music producer Rob Fusari said her vocal style reminded him of Freddie Mercury, and suggested the name Gaga which was inspired by the Queen song, Radio Ga-Ga.
