Robert deniro stars in the martin scorsese film taxi driver. this classic movie is a must see for all film buffs. we present here the climatic shoot out scene where deniro goes to the whore house apartment building where the young iris works. iris is played bt a young jodie foster. the film leads up to this dramatic scene where deniro who is armed to the hilt encounters the pimps and men who run the whore house and a wild shootout ensues. deniro is shot but recovers and is hailed as a hero for shutting this place down. iris goes back to her rural home with her parents and the parents write deniro a heart wrenching thank you letter. deniro makes a full recovery and goes back to driving his taxi.
