President obama uses his weekly video to the american people to seemingly defend his appointment of sonia sotomayor to the supreme court of the united states. He talks about her seventeen years of experience and seems to be doing a commercial for sotomayor. we notice that when obama picks a one topic video message as he often does that we find ourselves not getting any update on other things that have happened that week in washington government. these weekly messages were supposed to inform the american people about what has occurred in washington government over the past week but obama has often side stepped that and chosen a singular topic as he did this week
