The real true story in the late nite tv wars if finally emerting. it seems nbc plans to put jay leno back in his old time slot at eleven thirty but only for a half hour and the show will not be called the tonight show. conan will still keep the tonight show but it will air starting at twelve midnight right after lenos show at eleven thirty pm…all this will start right after the olympics. conan obrien is said not to be too happy about all this and may try the letterman ploy of moving to another network like fox but his contract may keep him from making that move. obriens contract was that he would get the tonight show and he got it. nbc is not taking it away from him they are just changing the time slot…somehow we feel that all this has got to be helping lettermans ratings and he may be the big winner in this mess created by his rival network.

Don Imus lays into letterman calling him an angry mean spirited jerk. imus also called letterman a creep and a punk. it seems like imus has no sympathy for lettermans so called extortion and apparently doesnt think it is cool to sleep with girls who work for you. this imus guy is the same person who calls women basketball players nappy headed hos but he never slept with women that worked for him…at least not that we know about. imus now says that he likes howard stern….which we dont believe for a minute and by the way we think this is a case of the pot calling the kettle black because we think that imus is also an angry mean spirited jerk and a creep and a punk. we are not saying letterman is not any of these things also…we just think that imus, letterman and stern all fall into this category. yes they are all creeps, punks and angry mean spirited jerks…isnt that obvious over so many years. these three should form a trilateral jerky, punky, mean spirited, creep club.

Here is a video clip that shows a little bit about the evolution of the tonight show and the evolution of conan obrien. conan started out as a writer on saturday night live and then worked as a writer on the simpsons. when letterman was passed over for the tonight show upon carsons retirement…it seemed he was very pissed off that they gave the slot to jay leno. letterman seems to intimate that he was promised the tonight show slot when carson left. he was so pissed off that he went to cbs to compete in the late night time slot with leno. leno stayed on the tonight show for 17 years and on june 1st of this year he turned that show over to conan obrien who turned his show over to Jimmy Fallon. we thought that obrien cracked a pretty funny joke last night when he and andy richter were looking into the future and the year 3000. conan said “in the future youtube, twitter and facebook would be combined into one time wasting site called YOUTWITFACE. we searched godaddy and found that the url youtwitface.com was already taken. ok great now what are you gonna do with it?
